Although I like abstract art I do find art that has a story more appealing.
Over the last few years I have been making work that allows me to "bolt on" a story, a narrative.
I've found the Greek, Roman and Norse myths to be very good anchors for my work.
These mythical lands and people create wonderful pictorial adventures.
They allow me play with shapes, textures and patterns knowing that they simply don't have to be "real".
They just need to work as pieces of art.
Again all cut, inked and printed by me in my Rugby based studio.
