Blue Moon - Sunset

I don't live near the sea, but I am continually attracted to its visual elements and have spent many years drawing along our coasts. At the time of making this linocut I was interested in the abstract ways of looking at seascapes. I relegated the elements into distinct horizontal bands, then creating textural patterned areas. I don’t often use metallic ink, but in this case I thought the harbour needed it.
