Dido

"Dido" was the daughter of the King of Tyre, who fled the city after her father died. She arrived in North Africa and founded Carthage. Aeneas a prince of Troy, after years of wandering, lands in Carthage. Dido falls for him but eventually he leaves, in her grief she kills herself on the pyre she had made. (see more on wikipedia)
