Renaissance Sunset

This multi-block reduction lino came about from drawings made for earlier linocuts. While working out the drawing and colour balance the sky reminded me of Botticelli and Filippo Lippi and gave the idea for "renaissance", which set the mood and the drawing. St Jerome seemed a good hook as well as a nod to those early painters.
