Scheria

A small reduction linocut made specifically for the Leicester Print Workshop "Small Print" exhibition. Based on an earlier linocut this is part of the story of Odysseus and the story of his travels in "The Odyssey". This print shows his escape from the clutches of the nymph Calypso on his raft. Only to met with a storm whipped up by Poseidon.
