The Rock

This was the second, or maybe the third, attempt at this motif. I did subsequently do another three very different versions. This particular print used bits of older, finished linocuts. The clouds, the waves/sea and the text all came from earlier work. I added two other, base colour blocks to them. The idea for this linocut came from a poem by Henry Ames Blood, of which is small part is included.
