The Unexpected Coast

In 2026 the Rugby Art Gallery celebrated the 80th year of its Collection and commissioned a new work. This linocut draws on five works from the Collection for their abstract qualities, graphic clarity and expressive use of paint. After many preparatory drawings the gallery was transformed into a cliff face, the steps a shoreline and the roads into the sea. This was created as an edition of 80, and priced at £80 for obvious reasons. All the edition are held by the Rugby Gallery. I do however a few artists proofs available.
