To Knossos

The original idea for this linocut was to look at three different ways to describe three elements; land, water and sky. It was meant to be more painterly than this, but that became a tricky thing to implement. In the end it became another of my excuses to basically do whatever I felt like, then give it a title which sets a story. The maze of Knossos is the swirling red landscape. Each of the ten is slightly different as parts of the inking are done quite loosely with a brush.
