Polruan from Readymoney

The headland of Polruan as seen from Readymoney cove in Fowey, Cornwall in the early morning. I was interested in making the background appear a long way from the viewer which meant creating large tonal jumps. This was the second attempt at this linocut, in the first the sky didn’t work too well.
